Fresh from Nissan’s partnership with Seiko featuring the legendary Datsun Z, it’s Casio this time, collaborating with Nissan’s motorsport arm NISMO (Nissan Motorsport International) to create a unique and highly collectible timepiece. The new model utilizes Casio’s ECB-S10NIS movement, a solar-powered, Bluetooth-enabled chronograph with smartphone link features, including automatic time adjustment, world time management, stopwatch data transfer, phone finding, and activity logging.Striking because of its red, white, and blue colorway, the Casio Edifice NISMO Heritage Edition displays a fluorescent NISMO logo, similar to the race car numbers glowing at night on those R90CP, R91CP, and R92CP Group C race cars that competed in 24-hour endurance events worldwide.

The machine-finish steel case houses a dial that’s predominantly white (Japan’s national racing color) with red and blue touches. The strap’s backside is finished in blue and red again, while the surface is also primarily white but depicts the signature stripes of NISMO’s original racing uniform.NISMO champion race cars from 1984 to 1997 are indicated on the strap, a reverent bow to the machines that established Nissan and NISMO’s motorsport credentials, competing for victory at the highest levels of the sport on the global stage.

Its slim and lightweight 9.6mm-thick case provides everyday wearable comfort, comes with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass and 100-meter water resistance, allowing the Casio Edifice NISMO Heritage Edition to operate under extreme conditions, just like the race cars.Need a sporty, multi-function, and high-tech watch to show your affinity for all things NISMO? This one’s for you.
