Marking its seventh year, Sports Cars for a Cause brought together car enthusiasts, families, and partners in a vibrant celebration of community and shared purpose.

Under the theme “It Takes a Village,” the event expanded to 5th Avenue for the first time, becoming its largest edition yet. Hundreds of vintage and high-performance sports cars filled 4th and 5th Avenues and 27th Street around Six/NEO and Seven/NEO, creating a lively display that drew attendees of all ages to the venue.

Supported by Calvin Ayre Foundation, NEO, Shell Pilipinas Corporation, Michelin Philippines, BDO, Threadborne Group, Ascott, Launch Pad Events Technical & Consultancy Services Inc., Wildflour, Manam, Nomad Musika, and Vision Express, the event also championed the Sisters of Mary School—a fully donor-funded boarding school offering free high school education, TESDA-accredited technical training, housing, and medical care to disadvantaged youth.

Reflecting on the event’s growth, Charlie Rufino, NEO President and BGC Car Club Convenor, said, “This is about showing up—for the kids, for each other, and using our passion to make a difference. The cars attract people, but the cause unites us. Expanding to 5th Avenue shows what a dedicated community can achieve.”

Raymond Rufino, NEO CEO, added, “We’re proud to support Sports Cars for a Cause once again. This event aligns with our mission to create spaces that bring people together, and we’re grateful to back a cause that lifts lives while fostering community spirit.”

The village-style setup fostered an immersive, family-friendly atmosphere, appealing to both auto enthusiasts and locals. The expanded venue underscored the event’s commitment to community-driven change and collective impact.

With the event being conveniently located at the modern and upscale Bonifacio Global City, the event was guaranteed to be a success due to its location with many locals enjoying a leisurely weekend walk to the venue, milling around the impressive array of vehicles and being surrounded by like-minded people.

And even if you are not an enthusiast, you were bound to bump into friends during the event to enjoy catching up.

Organized by the Sisters of Mary School, NEO, Bonifacio Global City, BGC Car Club, and Threadborne Group, Sports Cars for a Cause continues to unite the automotive community in support of education and opportunity.

More than a car show, it proves meaningful change arises when communities come together with a shared purpose.
