More passengers can now access NAIA’s Self Check-in kiosks, automated Pre-Security gates, and Self-Boarding gates at Terminals 1, 2, and 3, as more airlines finish integrating with the airport’s automated passenger system.
This system, gradually rolled out across the airport, lets eligible travelers check in, print boarding passes, tag luggage, clear initial security, and board via automated lanes, cutting wait times and easing crowding at counters. Automated Bag Drop is also being introduced in phases.

The services currently serve these airlines and passenger groups:
TERMINAL 1
– Philippine Airlines: International flights except Middle East and Japan
– Asiana Airlines: Korean nationals and visa-exempt foreign passengers
TERMINAL 2
– Philippine Airlines: All domestic flights
– Cebu Pacific: All domestic flights
– AirAsia: All domestic flights
TERMINAL 3
– Cebu Pacific: All domestic and international flights
– AirAsia: All international flights
– United Airlines: Visa-exempt foreign passengers
– Qatar Airways: All passengers
– Air Canada: All passengers
“These systems are live, and more airlines are joining as integration completes,” said New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC), the airport’s private operator. “With wider participation, more travelers will move through check-in, security, and boarding faster.”

These automated systems are part of NAIA’s push to streamline passenger flow and adopt biometric standards like those in major hubs across Asia, the Middle East, and North America.
Passengers on eligible flights are encouraged to use Self Check-in kiosks near terminal check-in zones. After printing their boarding passes and bag tags, they may go to Bag Drop counters or automated lanes, then proceed through Pre-Security and Self-Boarding gates. More airlines and routes will be added in coming months as integration progresses.
