For another consecutive year, Honda Foundation, Inc. (HFI) has renewed its collaboration with Tamang Ride PH, a road safety advocacy movement initiated by A Child’s Trust is Ours to Nurture, Inc. (ACTION). This partnership began in January 2025 as HFI sought to expand its outreach. By focusing on children and beginner road users through ACTION’s initiatives, HFI has successfully connected with younger audiences via campus events promoting proper road safety.

Following the recent Kids on Safety events, HFI and Tamang Ride PH teamed up once more to hold the Students on Safety program on February 28, 2026, at Paranaque National High School San Isidro Annex. The occasion opened with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between both parties.

While Kids on Safety targeted children aged 7-10, Students on Safety catered to 16- to 18-year-olds, educating future drivers and daily commuters about their responsibilities. This also served as pre-licensing preparation for those soon eligible to apply for a driver’s license. Tamang Ride PH tailored the curriculum specifically for this group, drawing from Honda Safety Driving Center’s (HSDC) Teen Smart program. By event’s end, 100 students had adopted the right mindset toward traffic rules and safe riding habits. To enhance realism, HSDC provided both a Test Ride and Learn to Ride (LTR) activities, letting novice riders試ractice on various Honda motorcycles under expert supervision.

Through this sustained partnership, Honda reaffirms its pledge to the 2050 global safety goal of zero collision fatalities involving Honda vehicles, aiming to halve such incidents by 2030.
